Pages

Get to know the new page builder!

SamCart's new Pages feature allows you to effortlessly create modern and innovative pages that will help boost your sales.

Introducing Pages

You will now see a Pages icon in your left hand navigation bar.

When you first open the Pages tab, before you have created any pages, you will see the following screen. Let’s break down all the different options!

1. Checkout Pages: This option will let you build a page that includes a checkout form, proven to boost conversions.

2. Lead Capture: This option will let you build a page that includes a form without credit card fields. With our App Marketplace, you can create powerful integrations from the leads being entered on this page!

3. Landing Page: This option will allow you to build a page that has no form or fields. This is great to promote a product or service with additional information! You can then add a button to your landing page to route your users to a checkout experience.

4. Link in Bio: Create a landing page that highlights a section for all your links!

5. Manage Custom Domains: This button will take you to your custom domain settings to control what domain is applied to your page. If you have multiple custom domains you can add different custom domains to different pages, inside the page specific settings.

When you click on any of the Page options, a slide out form will ask for a Page Name and URL Slug. The URL Slug will by default use your Page Name, but you can edit the URL slug if you’d like!

A URL Slug is anything that follows the ‘.com/’

Once your page name and URL Slug are set up how you’d like, click on the Create Page button to launch the new page builder!

Creating Your Page

Now that we have learned about the different types of pages, it's time to learn about the new builder!

Once you click on the Create Page button, you’ll see the template picker on the left hand side and a preview on the right:

This will be the same starting layout for all four of the different pages. For the rest of this article, we will be using a Checkout Page as an example.

To see all the different templates available for that specific template, just scroll down in the Template section!

You can also click a Style to get started with. To see the available style options, click on the Styles tab:

You can try out different styles at any time in the Page builder!

Once you have selected a template and a style you’d like to get started with, click on that template and click on the Preview - Click to Start Editing button:

Note: Once you choose a template for your page, you cannot go back and select a different template from this page. That said, you can always add new content templates/sections to your page to achieve the exact look you want! Choosing from this exact templates page, however, will require creating a brand new page.

All Checkout Pages will include a checkout form! You will need to associate a product with your page, keep reading to learn more about how products will work with your pages.

Editing Your Page

Now that you have selected your page template and style it’s time to add in your own content!

Our new Page Builder uses our AI technology from Typeset, one of our products that help creators generate ebooks, slides, and more. For more information on Typeset, you can check out our Typeset Knowledge Base here.
