New: AI Powered Checkout Pages
With SamCart’s brand new Pages feature, you can quickly and easily create any kind of page you need - including a “Checkout” Page! This article will walk you through specifically how to create a Checkout Page, if you’d like more general information about our Pages feature, check out our Pages article here.
Creating a Checkout Page
To start creating your checkout page, head over to the Pages tab within your marketplace:
Once you are in Pages, select the Domain (1) that you’d like to create a Checkout Page for. Then, click on the Create New (2) button and select the Checkout Page option.
Note - if you have never created a page for your selected domain before, you will see a slightly different screen, still just select the Checkout Page option!
Next you will see a pop up window where you can enter your Page Name (1) and URL Slug (2). Your Page Name will be an internal labeling tool for you - customers will not see this name. As you fill out your Page Name the URL Slug will update automatically to match, that said, you can edit your URL Slug to something entirely different if you’d like. When you’re done, click Create Page to complete this step and start adding content to your page!
Once you have created your page, you will be taken to the next step - picking a template. You will see Checkout Page templates by default, but you can browse and use any of our available templates! Scroll through the templates and select different ones to see what they will look like as a page. When you’ve found a template you like, click the Done? Try adding more sections button. Please note that you can also select the Blank Template if you’d like to move directly to adding individual sections.
Once your Checkout Page Template has been selected, you can now add or delete sections. All edits will be made on the left, and your preview will be on the right. You can create a blank section or add a section template. To add a section template, click on the “Templates” button on the bottom left. Choose from Heroes, Features, Content, Forms, Galleries, Testimonials, Navigation, or Footer sections. Clicking on a section template would add it to your existing Checkout Page, at the bottom.
You can delete a section of your Checkout Page by hovering your cursor over the number to the left of a slide, which should turn into a gear icon, click on the icon, then select “Delete” from the dropdown list. You can also click on the “Trash Can” icon on the preview section on the right.
Checkout Pages are perfect for things like one page sales funnels, standalone product offers, upsell flows, affiliate campaigns, and subscription signups. You can use Slide Checkout for a seamless, in page experience, or have the checkout open in a new tab.
