Language Settings

Translate your SamCart checkout pages and change the wording on your checkout form and order summary page.

Language Settings allow you to translate your checkout page and order summary to a language other than English. You can also customize the wording on your checkout form to your preference. 

Translate the page

If your customers don't speak English, SamCart has you covered.

Follow these quick directions to translate your SamCart checkout page into any language you need. 

Choosing the Preset Option

You can translate the checkout page automatically on all new Content Builder templates or the World Wide and One-Page Funnel template in the legacy builder. 

First, go to the Advanced Settings tab and scroll down to the Language Settings.

If your language is one of the following options, you can choose it from the Select Pre-fill Language dropdown: 

  • Spanish
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • French
  • Swedish
  • Portuguese
  • Norwegian

Save Changes after making your selection, and then preview the page! 

If your language is not featured on the dropdown, don't sweat it! Just select None, and you can directly enter translations into the Language fields. Go to the Customize wording section below to find out how! 

Customize wording

If your language was not featured on the dropdown, or if you would just like to change the name of a field, you can by customizing the wording in the Language Settings fields. 

The fields in the Language Settings correspond to the field titles on the checkout page and order summary so you can change them to whatever you prefer!

Let's walk through an example! 

Say you would like to input a translation or change the wording for the Order Summary section at the bottom of the checkout page. For this example we are going to change the text Your Order Summary and Total to something a bit more customized to the product.

We are going to change "Total" to "Today's Price" and "Your Order Summary" to "Get lifetime access to the course today for a special one-time price!"

Add the custom wording in the corresponding fields in both the Payment Fields section in the Other Fields section just like this: 

After adding the customized wording, Save Changes and then preview the page:

It is as easy as that!
