Checkout Anywhere Branding

Customize your embed and express experience with both general and product level settings

You can now customize themes, add terms and conditions, and more to automatically apply to your embed and express checkout experiences! Read on to learn more about the different customization settings that apply to your checkouts. 

Global Branding

To begin editing and building themes that will apply to all your products (unless overridden in product specific settings), navigate to your General Marketplace settings by clicking on the Settings tab in the Navigation Bar.

Inside your General Marketplace settings you will see a Branding tab on the left hand navigation bar. 

Here you will be able to customize your font, colors, and more that will by default apply to all your embed and express checkout experiences. Lets dive into the following branding settings!

Header Font

You can now adjust the font, bold, and color of your embed/express checkouts. 

Click inside the Font Family field to bring up a dropdown menu of all available font options for your header font. 

Inside the Header Font Style tab you can choose to bold your headers.

Lastly, with the Header Font Color section you can either type in your brand’s hex code, or click inside the color square to bring up a color picker. 

Once you have made the desired selections, click on Save Changes in the upper right corner.


These settings will now apply to all products that are compatible with embed / express checkout. 

To view your edits, just navigate to the Products tab from your Navigation Bar and click on the View Page quick action.

The Header Font settings will apply to the following sections in your checkout experience: 


Body Font

The Body Font settings include the same fields as the Header Font settings above.

 

The Body Font settings will apply to all the areas in the lime green font: 


Checkout Button
You can now control the text and color of your checkout button for express/embed experiences! 

The default express/embed checkout button is “Pay [product-price]”: 


With the Checkout Button settings you can type in any custom button text. This will remove the entire default text from the above screenshot.

The example edits would appear on the product page as follows:




Make sure to always click Save Changes when making any adjustments to the settings!

Terms & Conditions

The last section is to manage any Terms and Conditions document you’d like to appear on your express or embed checkouts!

Just copy and paste your terms and conditions URL into the Terms and Conditions URL field:

You will need to enter in a full web address that includes the ‘https://’. 

SamCart does not host terms and conditions so you will need to host it on a third party tool, for example a Google Doc URL could be used here. 

Adding a Terms & Condition URL will automatically result in a checked box at the bottom of your checkout page. This font will use the Body Font settings.

Branding on a Product Level

The Branding Settings inside the General Marketplace Settings will apply to all products. That said, you can easily override these settings inside your individual products!

To do so, navigate inside the product that you would like to add product specific branding settings to and click on the Share tab.


There you will be able to toggle on Override Brand Theme to customize the express/embed settings specific to that product.

Make sure to always click Save Changes before navigating away from the page to ensure your edits are saved! 

Note: If you want to override the branding theme for a product, those settings will apply to both embed and express checkout experience for that product. It is not possible to override the global settings for only express or embed, it will override them for both.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will any of these settings apply to my sales pages built with the content builder at all? 

A: Nope! These settings only apply to the express and embed checkouts. That said, the sales pages built with the content builder have their own customization settings directly within the content builder!
