Customize your Branding across your checkout experiences, all in one place!
You can now customize themes, add terms and conditions, and more to automatically apply to your checkout experiences! Read on to learn more about the different customization settings that apply to your checkouts.
Global Branding
To begin editing and building themes that will apply to all your products (unless overridden in product specific settings), navigate to your General Marketplace settings by clicking on the Settings tab in the Navigation Bar.
Inside your General Marketplace settings you will see a Branding tab on the left hand navigation bar.
Here you will be able to customize multiple facets of your marketplace style such as your logo & favicon, font, colors, socials, and more that will by default apply to your checkout experiences! You will also see a mock-up on the left so that you can see what your branding changes will look like in real time. Lets dive into the following branding settings! Note - At this time, some branding settings still only apply to our Checkout Anywhere (Express, Embed and Slide) experiences. We are working to apply these to more and more areas of your marketplace, stay tuned for changes coming to branding in the future!

Logo & Favicon
You can now add your logo & favicon directly to your branding settings!

SamCart displays your logo in several different places, including order receipts, all sales pages, Checkout Anywhere pages, dunning pages, and more. You can add a light mode and dark mode favicon, we recommend doing this to ensure a professional look across all devices your customers might be accessing your sales pages on. Logos should be smaller than 2 MB. Recommended size is 250x250 pixels. PNG, JPG, and GIF formats are all supported!
You can also add your logo image (or any other image!) as a favicon! A favicon is the little image to be displayed in a browser's address bar or next to the site name in a bookmark list for all product pages in your marketplace. See more information on Favicons here.
Note - These settings were previously located in the General Marketplace Settings.
Colors
Here you can choose the default colors for your checkout anywhere experiences. You can select the Primary, Text, and Button colors here! 
The Primary color will affect the headings and subheadings, text color will affect any other text on the page, and the button color will only affect the button. Here is a quick example of what your branding preview will look like if you update the colors, and a quick glance at what kinds of page elements will be affected by changing the colors:

Typography
Here you can adjust the font for text on your checkout anywhere pages! You can select different font for the Titles on your page, as well as the Body text on your page. Directly to the right of the word Typography, you will be able to see a quick example of what the Title and Body font will look like. You will also be able to see an example of how it will actually look on your pages if you look at the branding preview on the left side of the page!

Click inside the Titles or Body field to bring up a dropdown menu of all available font options. You can select the B icon directly to the right of the selected font if you would like this font to be bolded.
Tone
Here you can select the overall tone that you'd like your content to have! This will help our AI generated content (such as the content in Pages) choose what tone you want the content generated in. As we implement more and more AI capabilities within SamCart, this tone will affect more and more of your content!

Socials
Here you add any of your social media links, or any other links you'd want your customers to be able to easily access! We typically see people add their Instagram, Facebook, etc. so that their customers can easily access their social media sites, but you can technically add any link you'd like here. 
When links are added under the Socials tab, they will automatically appear within the Customer Portal for your customers. Note - these settings previously existed under the Customer Portal settings.
Checkout Customization
Here you have a couple more checkout customization settings!
You can edit the Checkout Button Text if you would like to customize what the checkout button text on your cCheckout Anywhere checkout experiences. You can add a Terms & Conditions URL if you would like a link to your terms and conditions to be automatically included on your Checkout Anywhere checkout experiences!

That's it! Once you have made the desired selections, click on Save Changes in the upper right corner.

As a reminder, you can always see a quick preview of what your changes will look like via the Branding Preview directly on the Branding Settings page - but you can also see these changes live by checking out the Express Checkout page for any of your products! To do this, head over to your products and select a product. From there, click on Design + Convert and select the Express option, then click Preview. This will take you to a preview of your express page, where you can see the branding changes you've made on one of your actual pages! 
Branding on a Product Level
The Branding Settings inside the General Marketplace Settings will apply to all products. That said, you can easily override some of these settings inside your individual products!
To do so, navigate inside the product that you would like to add product specific branding settings to and click on the Design + Convert tab. Select the type of checkout experience you would like to override the branding settings for (express, embed, slide). In the screenshot below we have selected Express.

There you will be able to toggle on Override Brand Theme to customize the settings specific to that product / checkout experience. Once you have this toggle turned on, you will see options to edit the Colors, Typography and Checkout Customization for that specific product / checkout experience!

Make sure to always click Save Changes before navigating away from the page to ensure your edits are saved!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I don't see the branding settings under my marketplace settings as is shown in this article. Where are my branding settings?
A: If you aren't seeing your Branding settings in the marketplace settings as shown in this article, no worries! You likely have a different version of SamCart that stores these settings in a slightly different place. Click on the blue person icon (or marketplace logo, if you have one) in the top right corner of your marketplace, then select the Branding option. This is where your branding settings will be located! 
Q: I've edited my branding settings, but I'm not seeing this reflected on my checkout page. Why?
A: It's important to note that several of these branding settings will only apply to the Checkout Anywhere (Express, Embed, Slide) experiences - meaning they will not apply to pages built in the Classic Content Builder, or the content of your pages built with the Pages builder. For example - the Colors, Typography and Checkout Customization will only apply to Checkout Anywhere experiences. That said, the sales pages built with the Classic Content Builder and Pages builder have their own customization settings directly within them!
It is also important to note that the Pages builder utilizes checkout anywhere to implement a checkout form on the page. This means that if you are using the Pages builder, the checkout form will have these branding settings applied, but the overall Page will not.
