Instagram

Things to know:

  • Your Instagram account must be a Creator Account

  • Your Facebook account needs to be an Admin of at least one Facebook Page.

  • Your Facebook Page needs to be a Business Page.

  • Phyllo is our third party connector that allows us to use their SDK flow to authenticate your social accounts.

First, you’ll log into your CreatorU account, click your profile icon in the top right corner, and select Creator Dashboard.

Next, your first prompt will show a message about connecting your accounts. To begin, click Connect Your First Platform +.

Next, a message about our connection process using Phyllo will appear. Once you’ve read Phyllo’s End User Privacy Policy, click Continue.

On the following screen, choose Instagram.

You’ll need to confirm that you have the following requirements completed. By confirming both options, you’ll then be able to click Connect Instagram via Facebook.

If you do not meet both requirements, you’ll be shown the following message: Instagram has the above requirements for a successful account connection. See the resources at the beginning of this section for more information.

Once you've completed both requirements, you’ll be prompted to log in with Facebook. This will take you to your Facebook to log in if you aren't already.

You will be given the option to choose which Facebook Pages you want Phyllo to access.

After clicking Continue, you’ll have another similar prompt to choose which Instagram accounts you want Phyllo to access. Click Continue again.

Finally, a review of the given permissions will be shown.

Clicking Save will result in a success confirmation screen.

After clicking Done, you’ll see that we’re adding your data to the Creator Dashboard.

After a few minutes, refresh your Dashboard and you should now see your Instagram account with your data filled out!
